The best way as Italians believe is making wine from their bare feet, though the commercially produced wine is made in more modernized plants, the traditional way to make homegrown wine is by treading on the grapes by bare feet and squeezing out the juice of the fruit and then converting this into wine.
The general rule about Italian wine is that they are dry, acidic and have a subdued flavor and aroma. These are the characteristic that make them the ideal accompaniment to food rather than as just a drink on their own.
